2018 Nominees Announced Soon

We would like to acknowledge and offer a sincere thank-you for those who took the time to submit a nomination to the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame for 2018. The board anticipates sharing the 2018 results with you soon!

There are two categories in the BCEHoF – Starwalk and Pioneer:

StarWalk Inductees

Past or Present residents of British Columbia who – through demonstrated excellence in their craft, have made a significant impact on the cultural profile of the province.

Pioneers Inductees

Thought of as the “historical core” of our Province’s entertainment history, these inductees may have had limited mainstream exposure outside of their specific craft but whose significant contributions are exceedingly worthy of recognition.

In both of the above categories, external nominations must be made to the BCEHoF Nominating committee by a published deadline. The committee is solely responsible for the screening, vetting and recommendation of all potential nominees to the BCEHoF Board of Directors selection.

Any nominee that is deceased will automatically be considered in the “Pioneer” category. A “Starwalk” nominee, if selected, will be honoured with a star on the sidewalk on Granville Street in a location subject to availability and at the discretion of the BCHoF Board.
