Ed Harrington
Ed Harrington was born in New Westminster and has numerous credits to his name. He was the co-founder and for 20 years the Artistic Director of the Royal City Musical Theatre Company. Ed has been an inspiration to thousands in South Australia, Germany, France, USA and Canada. He has a B.A. in History and English at UBC and his M.A. in Theatre is from the University of Oregon. He is a superb teacher and as head of the English Department of Terry Fox Secondary School, he inspired generations of students to follow their dreams. As head of Fine Arts in Port Coquitlam, he brought strength and passion to the culture of British Columbia. He was also an advisor to the Theatre Department at Douglas College.
Ed Harrington’s acting credits in Canada and the USA are numerous both in Stage and Television. Among many awards, Harrington prizes the Sam Payne Award from ACTRA, Canada’s Film and Television Union, the Bernie Legge Award for the encouragement of art in the community and the key to the city of Port Coquitlam for his work in promoting Drama and Musical Theatre.
