Nicholas Campbell is a critically acclaimed and multi award winning actor and director, having won multiple Gemini Awards for his portrayal of Domenic DaVinci in Da Vinci’s Inquest. He made his film debut in The Omen and appeared in The Eagle has Landed before going on to work with Sir Richard Attenborough in A Bridge Too Far and opposite Sir Laurence Olivier and Joanne Woodward in Come Back Little Sheba. He has over 40 starring film and television credits. Campbell was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and raised in Montreal. He continued his studies in England studying five years at the London Drama Studio and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Campbell spent 40 weeks touring the country with the York Theatre Royal Repertory Company. Starting his acting career in the movies he had small roles in A Bridge Too FarThe Eagle Has Landed and in the Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me. Playing Billy Quinn in CBC’s Major Crime he won a Gemini Award for best actor. In addition to his acting career, Campbell is also an accomplished filmmaker. He wrote and directed the documentary Stepping Razor; Red X (Genie nomination for best documentary). He has three sons and currently resides in Vancouver.
