Jackson Davies
Jackson Davies is a Canadian actor and the Vice-President of UBCP, the BC Branch of ACTRA. For 16 years Jackson starred as Constable John Constable in CBC’s longest running TV series The Beachcombers for which he won the TV Week Viewer’s Choice Award for Best Actor four times. Jackson is one of only two Canadians who were made Honorary Sergeants in the RCMP. He reprised his role as Sgt. John Constable in the TV movies The New Beachcombers (2002) and A Beachcombers Christmas (2004). Originally from Wetaskiwin, Alberta and now living in Vancouver, he has acted in over 160 stage shows across Canada and has appeared in over 300 TV shows and 30 movies. In 1995 Jackson was inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall Of Fame and Starwalk and was the 2007 recipient of the Sam Payne Award. He is a board member of the Arts Council of B.C. and has served on the Faculty of Screen and Stage at Capilano University in North Vancouver. Jackson still finds time to play right wing for the Vancouver Canucks Alumni.
