Valerie Easton

Valerie has choreographed in theatres across Canada for over two decades. Since 2010, Ms. Easton has been the Artistic Director for the Royal City Musical Theatre. Her most recent work has been seen at the Arts Club Theatre in the acclaimed productions of Bittergirl, Hairspray!, The Buddy Holly Story, Les Miserables, White Christmas, The Producers, Company, Beauty and The Beast, Gypsy, Cabaret, Miss Saigon, Jacques Brel, Singin in the Rain, My Fair Lady, Evita, and West Side Story (for which she received a Jessie Award nomination). Some of her other choreographic credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Western Canada Theatre); The Taming of the Shrew and Love’s Labour’s Lost (Bard on the Beach); The Music Man, A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, Fiddler On the Roof, and West Side Story (RCMT); Anne of Green Gables, Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz (Gateway Theatre); and Carousel, Annie and Kiss Me Kate (TUTS). Television credits include HBO’s Making it Big and Godiva’s Kitchen.
