Bruce Kellett
Born in Prince George, BC, Bruce Kellett, Musical Director, Pianist, Composer has been associated with most professional theatres in Canada. He has been nominated for several Jessie Richardson Awards and has received five “Jessies” acknowledging his continued work and dedication to the industry. He has worked with the Arts Club Theatre Company for over 38 seasons. Some of his favourite shows include Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, and Les Miserables. He composed the scores for Only in Vancouver, Easy Money, and, in workshop, A Little Princess. Kellett is a graduate of the University of British Columbia. He is known for giving back to the artistic community and is celebrated as a source of encouragement for young performers as they work their way up to professional theatre. He has also worked for the Vancouver Playhouse, Carousel Theatre, Theatre Under The Stars, Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Shaw Festival and Canadian Stage in Toronto, where his musical direction of Sweeney Todd was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award.
