Tom Kerr

Founding Artistic Director of the Western Canada Theatre Company in Kamloops, Tom is a Past President of Theatre BC, a Eric Hamber Memorial Award winner for long-term contribution to community theatre in BC, and is a Fellow of Trinity College, London. Nominated for 4 Jessie Awards he was twice Artistic Director of the Neptune Theatre in Halifax. He was Artistic Director of the Young Company at Stratford Ontario and Artistic Director of Persephone Theatre, Saskatoon. He also served as Professor in the Theatre Department at the University of Saskatchewan. He has worked extensively with the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver. Last year he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of the Okanagan.
