Iby Koerner

One of Vancouver’s most outstanding patron of the Arts, Iby Koerner contributed not only her time and money but also considerable enthusiasm, taste and knowledge to the community. Her powerful influence and connections resulted in many greats coming to Vancouver, such as Igor Stravinsky who gave his only Canadian performance at her bequest. Iby Koerner was also a leader on the Board of The Vancouver International Festival. A charming and gracious hostess, she made her home a kind of living museum for many great stars.
