Fred Latremouille
Fred Latremouille began his career on CKYC in Peace River before working for CJOR in Vancouver. He became a household name in the early 60s when he joined the CFUN Good Guys. Fred also co-hosted Music Hop from Vancouver on CBC TV with Red Robinson from 1964-66, was host of Danceparty on CHAN TV (now Global) and was heard on CKLG in the late 60s. After a brief stint in London, England, he became co-host of the CBC News package Hourglass. He also spent years as the weatherman on BCTV (now Global) before his biggest years on radio as morning host on CFUN and KISS FM where he co-hosted the morning show with his wife Cathy Baldazzi (1993-1999). They retired from radio in 1999 but later returned to the airwaves from CLEAR FM. Fred died in early March 2015.
