Susan Lehmann
Susan Lehmann of Surrey, BC was a well-known performer, dance teacher, adjudicator, choreographer and director throughout Canada and the US. She worked with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Charlottetown Festival and participated in several international tours. Her complex choreography for Mavor Moore’s hit show, A Christmas Carol, was legendary. Susan was a choreographer for the famed puppeteer, Shari Lewis, with numerous television specials filmed in Vancouver and Hollywood, California. She was a pioneer in teaching for youth theatre and musical theatre and was called upon to assist in theatrical staging for Pandora’s Vox/Espiritu and the Vancouver Men’s Chorus. She had a passion for the preservation of the natural environment and was a valued volunteer with the Green Timbers Heritage Society in Surrey until she died in December 2017.
