Founder of Vancouver’s only lunchtime theatre at City Stage, Ray Michal was a tireless worker for the theatre community. He brought new plays and great energy to downtown office workers and provided an intimate venue for actors to work. He spent years developing a new space which would be more accessible during the evening. A great supporter of young talent, Ray was a genuine pioneer, building theatres and creating work for theatre artists in Vancouver.
