Pat Morgan

Pat Morgan began his radio career in the mid 1930’s as Buster Morgan on CKCD – The Voice of the Province. He moved to CJOR as Pat Morgan in late 1930’s and early 40’s. He was chosen to be the singing star of a program called “Harmony House” which was broadcast over CBC Radio from the stage of the Orpheum theatre for 10 years from 1945-55. Sometime during the run of Harmony House, he went to Hollywood to do a soundtracking recording as the singing voice of Ralph Meeker who was co-starring with Betty Hutton in the movie “Somebody Loves Me”. For two years in the late 50’s, Pat acted as singing host of a CBC TV show called “Pick the Stars Talent Search”. Latterly he performed at floorshows and cabarets around Vancouver.
