

Journalist, humourist and playwright, Eric Nicol has more than 30 books published, is included in dozens of anthologies, and won three Leacock Awards. For over 40 years he had a regular column in The Province and he was a frequent freelance contributor in radio and television. A leader in Vancouver’s quickly growing theatre community, Mr. Nicol’s stage plays include Regulus, Like Father Like Fun, The Fourth Monkey, Pillar of Sand, Beware The Quickly Who, The Clam Made a Face Ma! and Free at Last. His original production of Her Scienceman Lover is probably the longest running play in theatre history, as it was performed once a year for 38 years by The Players Club at UBC.
