Skylark and David Foster to be Inducted into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame
BC Entertainment Hall of Fame Announces “SKYLARK” & “DAVID FOSTER” StarWalk Ceremony Inductions Friday September 22, 2023
Canadian Group “Skylark” with Founding Vocalist BJ Cook and Composer / Writer David Foster to receive stars on the Granville Street StarWalk in Downtown Vancouver, BC. Public welcome to attend the induction ceremony.
Vancouver, BC (September 11, 2023) The BC Entertainment Hall of Fame (BCEHOF) announces two new StarWalk inductees from the world of music: the BC group “Skylark” represented by Founder BJ Cook; and composer/writer David Foster. They will join the 300+ previous inductees who have been recognized for their significant contribution to the province’s entertainment industry and cultural landscape.
Each will be celebrated with a star presentation in front of the iconic Commodore Ballroom at 10:30 am on Friday September 22, 2023. The public, fans and media are invited to attend each of the presentations which will take place along the 800 block of Granville Street outside the Commodore Ballroom.

“These inductees are especially poignant because they represent the heart of the BC entertainment sector given the 50th anniversary of the massive hit Wildflower by Skylark and the countless hits David “the hitman” Foster has had on the global music, film and entertainment industries,” says Bill Allman, BCEHOF President. David Foster and BJ Cook of “Skylark” will be present at this historic induction ceremony.
Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim will also be attending with formal greetings from the City of Vancouver to our BCEHOF Star Walk inductees.
