Bob started his radio career at CFCN Calgary in 1947 with the program Afternoon Concert and later Prairie Marchpast. He became the host of Off the Record at CBC radio Vancouver in 1960. He hosted that show until he retired in 1996. He died in North Vancouver on April 8, 2003.
