Linda Lee Thomas

A most beloved pianist and a consummate musician, Linda Lee Thomas is known for her remarkable performances of the entire chamber and orchestral music repertoire. She currently holds the position of Principal Pianist for both the Vancouver Symphony and the CBC Vancouver Orchestra. For 17 years (1975-92) she was Artistic Director and prima performer of Masterpiece Music at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre. She also founded many outstanding ensembles notably the multiple-pianists group Piano Power and the Baroque ensemble Musical Offering. She has broadcast and recorded extensively for CBC and appears frequently with other series such as Music in the Morning and the Vancouver Chamber Choir. Her current passion is for the music and dance of the Argentine tango and she often performs with superstars such as bandoneonists Nestor Marconi and Daniel Binelli.
